Senior API and Backend Developer

You are a backend builder and RESTful API fanatic. You get excited about the possibility of connecting our Platform Telematics Data to web and mobile apps and integrating with various customer systems. You are an expert on HTTP, a smart debugger, a clear and precise communicator.

What will you do?

• Build and operate the integrations between Connected Cars Platform and external partners and services
• Implement connected car platform algorithms
• Develop tools to improve the efficiency of API integration
• Draft and distribute documentation for developers and integrators

What key qualifications are we looking for?

• Linux Based Systems coding and debugging
• Experience building and integrating with RESTful/SOAP API services
• Knowledge and applicable experience with Agile methodologies
• Build tools such as Gradle or Maven
• Versioning tools such as GIT
• CI-CD tools such as Jenkins or Github Actions
• Java 8 (Hibernate, JPA, JUnit)
• Container based applications using tools such as Docker
• Orchestration tools such as Docker Swarm or Kubernetes
• Spring framework, primarily Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Cloud
• Microservices architecture (Netflix OSS)
• NoSQL databases (Hadoop, Cassandra)
• RDBMS (MS SQL, Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Message Queues (NATS, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Distributed caching (Hazelcast, Redis)
• ELK (Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana) Stack

 What qualifications are nice to have?

• Frontend development experience (React)
• Python or Scala knowledge along with Apache Spark
