We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant. This is a long-term full-time job.
Location: Remote
Salary: from 1200 – 1700 USD monthly salary (not including bonuse by company milestones in sales per quarter / yearly)
Essential:
- Fluent in German & English.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- 1+ years’ experience with Crypto accounting.
- 5+ Years of accounting experience.
- Experience with accounting tools (preferably Xero).
- Experience with task management tools (preferably Clickup).
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to work in high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- In-depth understanding of IFRS.
- Create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and regulations, and roll out reconciliation procedures.
Desirable:
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or CPA is preferred.
- CFA or CPA Certificate.
- Knowledge of Russian and/or Ukrainian.
- Experience working for Big 4 firms.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
Regular Tasks:
- Cash Management and oversight on treasury including preparation and execution of AP and AR, payroll, and budgets.
- Reporting regularly on different levels of the company, including the preparation of Financial Statements, Cash Flow Plans, P&L Reports, Financial Forecasts, Payroll Statements, etc…
- Management of the Bookkeeping, including corporate expenses and contract management.
- Responsible for maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of tax returns, and assistance with audit preparations.
- Development of standard operational processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen efficiency and compliance.
