We are looking to hire a Senior ETL/ Data Wаrehouse Developer for our Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (DCOE).

As a Senior ETL/ Data Wаrehouse Developer in DCOE, your primary goal will be to offer non-standard solutions and unlock the potential of our clients. You will be responsible for developing scalable and high-performance reporting solutions and determining appropriate applications for data processing, storing, analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and architect big data solutions to support business needs
• Design and architect database back-end as well as web services to interface with external applications
• Design business intelligence reporting applications and dashboards
• Identify data quality issues through data profiling and analysis
• Perform optimization and tuning on queries, stored procedures, and caching as necessary
• Make recommendations about platform and technology adoption
• Ensure that the technical strategies, standards, and practices are correctly applied
• Work with the latest development and server technologies from Microsoft, Amazon, and Apache
• Review and analyze business requirements and provide a technical perspective on approach, risk, and estimated development time
• Day-to-day communication with client team members, expert personnel, and subject matter experts
• Participate in rapid, prototype-based design sessions

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on ETL
• 5+ years of hands-on database design, modeling, data mart, and data warehouse architecture for business intelligence solutions
• 3+ years of hands-on in one or more of the following: SQL/ Python/ Scala
• In-depth knowledge of any popular database and data warehouse technologies from SQL & NoSQL realm - Redshift, DynamoDB, Oracle, Azure Synapse Analytics, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
• Strong knowledge of systems development, including system development life cycle, project management approaches and requirements, design and testing techniques
• Ability to think strategically and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies and concepts
• Fluent in English

A significant advantage would be an experience with

• Data lake design, profiling, and conceptual modeling
• Amazon Web Services (AWS Athena, AWS Lambda, Glue, Kinesis, DMS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, EMR, Redshift, EC2)
• Azure Business Intelligence Services (Power BI, Power BI Embedded, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Synapse Analytics)
• Azure Big Data Services (HDInsight, Data Lake Analytics, Data Lake Store)
