Your core responsibilities will be:

• Leading a team of engineers and technicians for tools and equipment
• Ordering of test equipment, monitoring the status of the order in accordance with the planned delivery / installation time
• Incoming control of received equipment
• Installation of test equipment, commissioning and support during equipment validation
• Defining and optimizing the test table board layout
• Creating test programs and support during their validation
• Preparation and storage of test equipment documentation (history of changes, technical tests)
• Participating in project meetings to define customer requirements and their feasibility
• Participating in analysis and defining quantity of required test equipment in cooperation with project leader
• Creating work instructions / procedures for using test equipment
• Optimization and cost reduction with technical solutions related to test equipment
• Installation and updating test software
• Maintaining contacts with test equipment suppliers for technical support
• Technical support to the maintenance department and assistance in defining spare parts
• Support the quality department during the root cause and risk analysis (8D, FMEA)
• All other activities related to test equipment

Candidate profile:

• University degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics, Mehatronics or similar
• Desired experience in automotive (preferably) wiring industry with testing equipment – minimum one year
• Experience in work with AutoCad or SolidWorks
• Basic programming skills (C languages), Visual Basic and VBA (macros) will be considered as an asset
• Fluency in English
• Excellent analytical skills
