Senior Frontend Developer for Global e-Learning Platform

You will:

• Optimize front-end components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Coordinate with back-end developers to implement desired functionalities
• Support migrations to latest AEM versions from a front-end point of view
• Update components to meet accessibility standards
• Participate regularly in code reviews with your peers
• Collaborate with team members via Git using feature branches in a continuous deployment environment
• Identify new technologies that improve product development and end user experience

You have:

• 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise grade software development
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
• Proficient understanding of React and jQuery
• Proven experience with responsive, adaptive design and SEO principles
• Ability to look beyond frameworks, to understand complex architecture and to write enterprise grade code
• Proficiency with frontend build tools and CSS preprocessing (Webpack, LESS)
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page update, and AJAX
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries like ExtJS and TouchUI is significant plus
• Previous work with content management systems, AEM is a significant plus
• Familiarity with web accessibility, caching mechanisms and web application security standards is a plus
• Familiar with GIT and source/version control
• Bachelor or higher degree in computer science (or equivalent)
• Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
