Senior Lawyer

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of all types of banking contracts for legal entities and individuals (accounts, deposits, loans);
• Preparation of all types of non-banking contracts (purchase and implementation of software, sponsorship, mediation, advertising etc.);
• Preparation of annexes to existing contracts, as well as termination of contracts;
• Control, adjustment and amendment of the contracts submitted by the other contractual party;
• Preparation of Protocols on Cooperation, Requests, Requests, Authorizations, Notices, Statements, Business Letters;
• Coordination and communication with corporate and retail entities, regarding the concluded contracts;
• Prosecution of third-party lawsuits against the Bank (collection of documentation for court proceedings, preparation of submissions, cooperation with lawyers);
• Preparation and updating of records on litigation processes against the Bank;
• Legal representation of the bank before the courts in civil-law and criminal-law matters and in administrative proceedings before regulatory authorities (The National  bank of Serbia, Business registries Agency etc.);
• Providing legal opinions;
• Monitoring and interpretation of regulations;
• Preparation and control of decisions and materials for the sessions of the General Shareholders’ Meeting, the Board of Directors, the Executive Board and other bodies of the Bank;
• Property legal issues (registration, registration etc.);
• Preparation and updating of the legal status of real estate owned by the Bank;
• Training of other employees;
• Leading the project and participating in others as part of the team.

For the good start you will need:

• University degree - Bachelor of Law;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the same or similar posts;
• Passed BAR exam will be considered as an advantage;
• Excellent knowledge of MS office;
• Excellent knowledge of English;
• General understanding of business processes.
