Senior Officer for Machine Sourcing

Your Responsibilities

• Day to day supplier management within a clearly set framework, following the system workflow requirement provided by European HQ
• Comply with defined machine sourcing guidelines
• Follow defined strategies to achieve set targets (cost savings, global contract setup etc.)
• Work with machine Centre of Excellence to source new suppliers who fulfil the machine "list of requirement"
• Advanced sourcing of suppliers within European HQ guidelines
• Identify the new machines/equipment enquiry for new projects based on long term plans
• Work with Operation/Production to classify the critical machine/equipment and setup the contract for the maintenance
• Benchmarking and negotiation for the best offer for each machine/equipment
• Develop Prefer supplier per cost, quality and co-operation concern
• Develop Global supplier and global contract to benefit the company
• Acting as a single point of contact from SCS for designated projects
• Escalate to EU HQ Management any relevant issue and manage these according to approved guidelines

Your Profile

• BSc or MSc degree in Technical or Economic / Commercial field
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in related positions
• Expertize regarding production machines (e.g. soldering machine, magnetization machine, welding machine, balancing machine etc.)
• Good business and technical English language skills: spoken and written
• Negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Highly responsible, emphatic, compliant with respective company regulation
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
