Senior Project Manager m/f

Place of work: Belgrade

Job description and responsibilities:

• Supervising construction projects ensuring that project deliverables are met and that projects are completed within technical specifications, time and budgetary constraints
• Determining resource requirements (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Prepares the Project Organization Chart and manages recruitment, appointment and allocation of human resources from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Planning all construction operation and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Coordinating a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results
• Negotiating contracts conditions with vendors and subcontractors
• Hiring contractors and other staff and assigning responsibilities
• Overseeing and evaluating construction projects’ progress and provide detailed reports on timeline, project progress, cash flow, profitability and reconciliations
• Prepares systems for accounting cost control, personnel management, quantity surveying
• Must ensure work is performed according to applicable laws and regulations
• Presents a monthly profit and loss report
• Responsible for the acceptance of the works by the client and the relevant authorities
• Responsible for the handing-over of the project

Requirements:

• 15+ years construction industry experience
• Extensive experience in the reconstruction of churches and buildings of cultural importance
• Civil Engineering degree (MSc)
• Excellent knowledge of English language – minimum C1 level
• Knowledge of German and/or Russian is an advantage
• Expert user of MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project
• Experience in FIDIC contracts is a plus
• Proven experience as construction project manager
• Extensive experience managing budgets for large scale construction projects
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure
• One or both of the following engineering licenses: 310, 410
