Ventilabis is a Swedish startup company that will launch an innovative search engine for decorative arts - antiques, art and design - in the second half of 2017. The company was founded in 2016 and is part of the incubator Företagsfabriken at Videum Science Park in Växjö, Sweden.

Server Developer for Startup

Freelance position

Requirements:

  • Ventilabis server system is developed in Java and we are looking for an individual with a university education in information technology or science and at least 3 years of experience with software development. Specifically we want significant experience with Java. Experience of building systems based on web technology, handling of large data sets and large number of users is a distinct advantage. Our User Interface is developed in Angular 2 and although not a requirement any experience with front end development and Angular 2 is positive. The server developer will be part of the Ventilabis development team lead by our CTO and supported by senior developers

Job description:

  • This is a freelance position for full time work during 4 months. We will provide you with computer equipment and software tools but we expect you to work from your own work space. Our office is located in Växjö, Sweden but our team is distributed and we welcome candidates from any location. After the project we are hoping to offer full time employement. Renumeration is negotiable and we will pay going market rates
