We are looking for a Software Deployment Engineer to join our team in Belgrade. As a Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for successful installation, configuration and deployment of our software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Planning of deployment activities within internal team
• Manage the execution of deployments in production environments together with Customer support team
• Ensure the planning goals are met and highlight potential delays
• Coordination with clients about all relative deployment activities
• Resolving potential technical issues during and after deployment process
• Contributing to the continual improvement of all processes, and devise workflows to streamline deployment
• Perform periodic analysis on the resource utilization, ensure adequate capacity planning is carried out
• Document and maintain process and procedures documentation

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL)
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server OS (AD, IIS, Security protocols)
• Good understanding of VPN protocols
• Good understanding of network services (DNS, SFTP, SSH)
• Basic knowledge of Linux administration
• Comfortable with tools such as: Git, Jira, Confluence
• Good understanding of agile development methods (SCRUM)
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Clear understanding of the Development/SIT/UAT/Production environment requirements
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Bash and similar scripting languages
• Experience with configuration management tools (like Ansible) is a plus
• Basic knowledge of modern CI/CD patterns
• Basic knowledge of .NET Technology
