Supplier Development Engineer - Plastic Components

We are searching for a new colleague within our Supplier Development team!
Your tasks as Supplier Development Engineer - Plastic Components:
- Performance of advance quality planning of starting plastic components for development and production of new customer projects
- Conduction and/or coordination of supplier selection, assessment, nomination, development and approval for starting materials
- Project coordination of APQP / Supplier Readiness / PPAP of starting components for customer project
- Coordination with purchasing and the decentralized plant quality departments (worldwide) as well as cooperation with internal supplier management
- Continuous monitoring and reporting of the quality performance of starting components
Your profile as Supplier Development Engineer - Plastic Components:
- Degree in Technical Field/Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Metallurgy, Industrial, Quality Control)
- Preferable several years of working experience in Production, Materials Management, Quality Assurance/Control, Industrialization and Technology Development in automotive or similar industry related to plastic components
- Knowledge of QM application and Quality tools; experience as QM Auditor (any ISO or VDA standard) is preferable
- Experience in communication with suppliers / customers and coordination of interdisciplinary projects and project teams; willingness to develop career in Supplier Management, with scope of Automotive Quality Standards and Project Coordination
- Willingness for international travel, fluent English language skills; German language skills are beneficial
