System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Maintain Windows, Linux, and software (update, installation)
• Perform regular system monitoring of infrastructure by verifying the integrity and availability of all server resources, systems, and key processes to ensure continuous system functioning
• Review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs
• Isolate, diagnose, and document common system problems
• Manage VM’s and virtualization platform
• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues
• Take care of the administration of network components like Firewalls, Routers, and Switches
• Create, restore, and verify backups of data
• Follow the agreed processes and procedures, propose improvements

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with Windows/Linux System Administration
• Understanding DC, DHCP, DNS, and GPO
• Hands-on system management, system setup, configuration, and managing Linux based servers
• Deep understanding of network topology and functionality of its components
• Experience in Bash scripting
• Experience in monitoring tools (Nagios, Icinga, Zabbix)
• Knowledge of storage and backup solutions
• Ability to monitor and identify network policy violations and system breaches
• Understanding security requirements, experience in resolving security issues
• Creating users and groups, managing ownership and permissions, user identity management in

Active Directory

• Experience with VM’s and virtualization platform
• Tomcat administration is a plus

Your profile

• University degree in computer technology or computer science (or relevant years of experience)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills - Ability to work in an international team with international customers
• Excellent English skills (oral and written)
