System Design Engineer – Automotive Traction Drives - (m/f)
Location: Šempeter pri Gorici, Ljubljana or Maribor (SLOVENIA)

Your tasks and responsibilities

Design and mechanical simulation of electric motors as part of an electric traction drive system
Design and calculation / simulation of system interfaces between e-motor, electronics, mechanic assembly of PCB, connectors and other interfaces
Definition of material and manufacturing method and creation of manufacturing drawings Monitoring of design status and achievement of requirements for mechanical design
Continuous improvement of design process, implementation of lessons learned and best practice

Your skills and abilities

Education with at least diploma/master in mechanical engineering
At least 3-5 years of experience in design and optionally mechanical simulation of e-motors and preferably also in other mechatronic components in automotive industries
Experience in integration of electric power train components (electric motor, electronics, coolant circuit, connectors and mechanical installation)
Experience in structural-mechanical FEM simulation of electric motors or mechatronic components, including their interfaces
Experience in tolerance analysis, robust design, design to cost & design to manufacturing
Experience in state of the art manufacturing technologies of mechatronic components
Skills and experience in communication with automotive customers and suppliers
Excellent language skills in English in writing and speaking.
