Testing Engineer

Job description:

• Development and documentation of new testing processes and procedures
• Review and documentation of costumer and performance specifications with regard to validation requirements
• Preparation of test release recommendations after consultation with supervisor
• Presentation of validation results within release meetings and customers
• Responsible for the realization of a timely, cost and quality compatible product validation of electric drive components/electronics/complete system
• Coordination of external suppliers and service providers
• Preparation of risk analysis
• Development of troubleshooting suggestions as well as new testing procedures and methods
• Coordination of validations with regard to customer specifications with customers and suppliers
• Analysis of new products (benchmarking)
• Generation, review and assessment of validation reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a similar area
• Minimum 2 years professional experience in a similar position, preferably within the automotive  industry
• Technical background in electric drives and testing methods
• Intermediate knowledge of English language
