In Serbia, Japan Tobacco International started its operations in 2003, when the office for Marketing and Sales was opened in Belgrade. In May 2006 JTI acquired Senta Tobacco Industry. Branch office of JT International a.d. Senta in Belgrade - is a center for managing business of the company in the Western Balkans.

Tobacco Buying and Grading Intern

What will you actually do?

You will have the opportunity to:

• Monitor the purchase of tobacco, classification of tobacco (external, internal)
• Monitor the creation of recipes for specific treatment classes (blending tobacco)
• Learn about quality control, technological process of processing raw tobacco and about applications that are used in controlling the quality of tobacco production and processing
• Familiarize warehouse business including logistics
• Assist in creation of instruction and procedures
• Implement and execute projects and activities in coordination with line manager

What are we looking for?

• Final year student or recent graduate, background: Agronomy or Technology
• Excellent in English and Serbian (written and spoken)
• PC literacy: MS Office
