Your core responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for organization of regular and special incoming and outgoing transport in accordance with central procedures and defined/approved suppliers
- Daily communication with transport providers related to company needs and required quality of service and escalation in case of any deviation that can jeopardize company or Customer
- Defines action plans and ensures their implementation in case of any escalation or deviation related to transport of materials or finished goods
- Optimization of transport in order to achieve savings but respecting Customer deadlines and requirements
- Checking transit time for incoming/outgoing transports and in case of any deviation escalates issue to supplier and other interested parties and defines and implements actions
- Regular tracking and reporting about transportation costs and their deviation from forecast
- Controls all invoices related to transport cost and directly cooperates with finance department
- Ensures ordering proper number and capacity of trucks and most efficient transportation mode
Candidate profile:
- Desired University degree in area of supply chain, logistics, traffic engineering or similar (not mandatory)
- Previous experience in similar job minimum 1 year
- Knowledge about customs regulations and procedures
- Excellent analytical skills
- Readiness for work in fast-pace environment
- Excellent English knowledge
- Good knowledge of MS Office
