Unity Developer

We are looking for a driven and experienced programmer capable of performing in a dynamic environment and collaborating with other members of a multi-disciplinary team. You will support a team of passionate game developers to create fun and engaging games.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Program gameplay and application features in Unity
• Create readable, re-usable code
• Collaborate closely with art and design team members to deliver polished, visually impressive, optimized games
• Work with production staff to identify technical risks and break gameplay down into user stories and scenarios

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• History of working with version control (GitHub, subversion etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in Unity development
• Strong debugging skills with ability to work in an existing codebase
• Learn new systems/concepts and implement them quickly and efficiently
• Proficient in C#
• Understanding of OOP and game-programming design patterns
• Able to collaborate with other engineers and designers
• Ability to work well in a fluid, changing environment as creative challenges evolve

EXTRA SKILLS

• Experience in working on 2D games in Unity
• Experience in developing User Interface in Unity
• Experience with animations in Unity.
• Experience with Trello or similar project management tools
• Familiarity with team management, collectible card games or role-playing games
• Familiarity with blockchain technology
