Waste Management Officer

Polyeco doo Belgrade has been established in 2010 and since then provides sustainable hazardous waste management services. 

We are part of an extensive network of companies which has more than 25 years of experience in the field of hazardous waste management and successfully implemented international hazardous waste management projects in Africa, Europe, Asia, GCC and South America funded by UN organizations such as UNDP, UNIDO, OSCE, FAO and the World Bank. As part of our expansion, we would like to recruit a talented

Waste Management Officer 

Main Responsibilities: 

• Manages and maintains good work relationships with clients.
• Tracks project realization respecting operational, financial, and legal requirements.
• Executes transboundary movement of waste.
• Visits sites and provides feedback to the General Manager. 
• Stays abreast and follows all regulations for Health, Safety, Environment (HSE).
• Maintains up-to-date files and records of project documentation. 
• Undertakes any other administrative duties as reasonable requested by the General Manager.

We will select the candidate who will be able to exhibit:

• Strong organizational (including prioritization, handling extreme pressure of deadlines), analytical and project management skills (including attention to detail, numerical skills).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills exercised in diverse groups of stakeholders.
• Responsibility both when following guidelines and working autonomously.

Part of the qualifications, we require:

• VII Degree with focus on technical or engineering field.
• Business fluency in Serbian and English.
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Clean driving license (category B), active in driving.

Reports to: General Manager  
Contract: Permanent with 6month trial period  
Work Schedule: Full time     
Location: Belgrade, Serbia
