We are looking for a talented individual to join our international team as a Junior - Intermediate WordPress Developer.

What we are looking for:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript knowledge and experience
• WordPress web design & development (Elementor, WP Bakery, Astra)
• Bootstrap
• WooCommerce (nice to have)
• PHP (nice to have)
• WordPress theme and plugin development (nice to have)
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Great written and verbal communication skills in English
• Self-starter and self-motivated professional (due to the time difference and remote nature of the work)
• Must own a reliable computer and have reliable internet

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build websites using WordPress and other open source technologies 
• Continuously improve websites based on client needs 
• Develop custom themes using modern HTML/JavaScript/CSS 
• Write documented and reusable code 
• Testing across browsers, devices, and platforms 
• Handling debugging and client feature requests 
• Maintaining existing WordPress websites as needed 

Important Information:

• Salary will be based on the experience of the individual 
• You will be trained based on the systems and current workflow of Guru SEO and Web Design Services
• Although this position is full time permanent you will be employed as a consultant and will issue an invoice at the end of each month to Guru SEO and Web Design Services
• Excellent communication skills are necessary, and commitment to meeting deadlines. Tasks will be assigned through our internal system. Most communication will be over email, Zoom, or Slack. You may be requested, infrequently, to join a call or zoom meeting to provide technical input.
