Accountant (Global Business Centre)

Responsibilities:

• Processes and submits incoming and outgoing invoices, as well as travel expense documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Ensures accurate posting of all invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts, cost centers, and project codes.
• Performs the posting of bank statements, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of transactions and accounts.
• Prepares and executes payment runs in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensures the application of appropriate approval workflows and supporting documentation in line with internal policies.
• Develops, updates, and maintains financial databases, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and archives.
• Assists to senior team members in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Participates in the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures, prepares supporting documentation, and contributes to the definition of accounting rules and workflows.
• Actively contributes to the improvement of financial practices, process optimization, and overall organizational efficiency.
• Provides support and guidance to less experienced members of the finance team.

Requirements:

• University degree (Level VI–VII) in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
• Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Three years of experience in accounting (candidates without experience will also be considered).
• Proficiency in MS Office, the SAP is advantage.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
