We are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Accountant in our Global Compliance & Reporting department in EY Belgrade:

Your key responsibilities will be

• Bookkeeping tasks
• Payroll calculations
• Preparation of financial statements
• Preparation of corporate tax returns, VAT returns, and other tax returns as applicable
• Preparation of monthly and annual management reports as per client’s internal policies and procedures

To qualify for the role you must have

• Education in Economics
• More than 1 year of relevant experience (accounting, payroll, tax and reporting processes)
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to work as a team member

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Good knowledge of local tax legislative
• Very good analytical abilities, logical and structured thinking
• Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel as well as experience working with accounting software (knowledge of SAP and AB Soft would be considered as advantage)
• Good communication, organization and presentation skills
