Accountant

Our mission is to promote environmental responsibility through effective recycling practices while serving a diverse range of clients nationwide.

Green Wave is an industry leader in the IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) service industry, with locations in the US from coast to coast. We provide our customers with cradle to grave solutions for their IT equipment.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professionals to join our team in Belgrade. We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a background in Manufacturing and understanding of other industries such as logistics and retail. Accountant will be reporting to the President and will lead our AP/AR team.

This is an on-site position that requires strong focus, responsibility and excellent English communication skills.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 12-8pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end & year-end close including GL analysis, accruals, prepaids, journal entries and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports for monthly management and quarterly Board of Directors review
• Directs AP/AR department
• Performs financial forecasting and budgeting
• Collaborates and interacts with external banks
• Prepares weekly cash flow forecasts
• Prepares and reports departments’ revenue and profitability KPIs

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience
• BS in Accounting or Finance, or related field
• Strong experience with month-end and year-end close
• Strong knowledge of GL, accruals, prepaids, journal entries and reconciliations
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent English communication skills
• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems

Preferred:

• Experience working with US GAAP
• Experience with Oracle, Oracle NetSuite or similar
• Experience with Salesforce, ADP and/or SQL
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, retail or related industries
