Accountant

Rakmark INC, a well-established company with offices in Belgrade and Niš, is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and organized individual to join our team as an Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor invoice status and ensure prompt funding from factoring providers.
• Track and manage accounts receivable and outstanding invoices.
• Communicate with brokers, customers, and factoring companies regarding invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and documentation requests.
• Follow up on unpaid invoices and assist with collections when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems with invoice and payment information.
• Coordinate with dispatch and accounting departments to ensure complete and accurate documentation.
• Prepare reports related to invoice aging, collections, and factoring activities
• Generate reports related to invoice aging and collections.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in trucking, logistics, transportation, factoring, or accounts receivable is necessary.
• Strong understanding of freight invoices, rate confirmations, PODs, and BOLs.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
