Azelis Serbia is looking for an Accounting Assistant that will be based in Belgrade.

Key responsibilities:

• Support daily accounting operations and ensure financial record-keeping
• Prepare and post accounting entries in accordance with company policies and local regulations
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes
• Assist in account reconciliation and investigate discrepancies when needed
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger processes
• Maintain and organize accounting documentation and other financial records
• Assist in the coordination of external audits and preparation of audit-related documentation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls

Qualification & Skills

• High school or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Fluent in English
• Extensive experience with Excel is a must
• Familiarity with financial reporting
• Microsoft Dynamics experience is considered a plus
• Analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
