Ten-Eight d.o.o. is a fast-growing logistics company expanding our team in Serbia. We keep America's freight moving, and we need a sharp, driven Accounting Specialist to take ownership of our financial operations and help us scale.

The Role

You will be the financial backbone of our fleet, manage daily accounting, process driver settlements, ensure rapid load funding, and keep our financial statements flawless.

Because you will be communicating daily with US-based drivers, brokers, and factoring companies, flawless English and elite customer service skills are a must. If you know the ins and outs of the US trucking industry and are a master at ProTransport, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

• ProTransport Management: Utilize ProTransport software daily to manage the general ledger, input data, and oversee all core accounting and dispatch-related financial functions.
• Freight Funding & Factoring: Oversee the load funding process. Submit necessary documentation (Rate Confirmations, BOLs, PODs, and lumper receipts) to brokers or factoring companies to ensure timely funding and healthy cash flow.
• Financial Statements: Prepare, review, and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Driver & Owner-Operator Settlements: Process weekly driver payroll and contractor settlements accurately within ProTransport. Calculate and apply correct deductions (fuel, escrows, maintenance, cash advances) while providing clear, helpful support to drivers regarding their pay.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the entire AP/AR cycle. Generate customer invoices, track outstanding balances, and resolve billing discrepancies with brokers and shippers.
• Month-End Close: Assist in month-end closing procedures, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking (e.g., tolls, fuel cards, repairs).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Location: Must work on-site from our Belgrade office.
• Experience: 1+ years of accounting experience strictly within the US trucking industry.
• Software: Mandatory, hands-on experience with ProTransport.
• Communication: Flawless English and elite customer service skills to handle driver settlements and broker calls.
• Funding: Deep understanding of freight factoring, broker billing, and the load funding lifecycle.
• Accounting: Proven ability to manage AP/AR, perform reconciliations, and generate accurate financial statements.
• Industry Knowledge: Fluent in US trucking documentation (BOLs, Rate Cons, IFTA, DOT).
