Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist

Green Wave is an industry leader in the IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) service industry, with locations in the US from coast to coast. We provide our customers with cradle to grave solutions for their IT equipment. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Belgrade team. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations related to vendor payments, customer invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping for our US operations.

This is an on-site position that requires strong focus, responsibility, and excellent English communication skills. 

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 12-8pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process vendor and customer invoices and payments, accurately and on time.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable balances, follow up on outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing, reporting, audits, and accounting reconciliations.
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding billing and payment matters.
• Support financial and operational processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with US based finance and operations teams on daily accounting activities and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AP/AR or general accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
