Key Responsibilities:

• Process, review, verify two and three-way matching of vendor invoices and credit memos for accuracy, proper coding, approvals, and adherence to company policies
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, including aged or unvouchered items
• Analyze transactions for proper tax treatment, including U.S. Use Tax compliance, and ensure accurate calculation and reporting
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain professional communication to support strong relationships
• Maintain accurate vendor records and transaction documentation
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional departments to support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with controls
• Support month-end close activities and continuous improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function
• Assist with projects and ad hoc financial tasks as required

Position Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience preferred
• Experience with vendor interaction and high-volume invoice processing
• U.S. Use Tax experience and knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles strongly preferred
• Degree or equivalent certification in finance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g. Navision preferred)
• Understanding of debits/credits and financial transactions
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive problem-solving, able to identify and resolve discrepancies and issues effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Proactive, continuous improvement mindset
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
