Advanced Development Engineer for Power Electronics - EMI Expert

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Development of EMC filter components for inverter and converter power electronics
• Simulation and optimization of the power electronics system EMI behavior, considering the interaction of the individual inverter subcomponents and the external system components
• Evaluation and simulation of advanced power electronics topologies with respect to EMI behavior
• Validation of simulation models with hardware prototypes
• Analysis of the project requirements and derivation of the EMC concept for pre-series products
• Participation in advanced development projects and cooperation with the ZF series teams and international partners

Your profile:

• University degree in electrical engineering, high-frequency technology or similar field
• Profound knowledge in the field of EMC, ideally with automotive power electronics background
• Hardware development and simulation expertise
• Confident appearance in contact with project partners and distinct communication competences
• Independent work required, driving innovation, being initiative and being a team player
• High level of written and spoken English
