Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, independent and resourceful After-Hours Logistics Coordinator to manage our fleet and broker communications during the night and weekend. Since trucking never sleeps, you will be the key contact when the day team is off duty. You will be responsible for tracking freight units, handling overnight emergencies and ensuring our drivers have 24/7 support.

Key Responsibilities

• Overnight Fleet Tracking: Track real-time truck locations using GPS and tracking software (Macropoint, FourKites) during night/weekend shifts.
• Broker Check-ins: Answer incoming tracking calls and emails from brokers, providing accurate status updates and estimated time of arrival (ETA).
• Driver Support: Act as the primary point of contact for overnight drivers, assisting with route instructions, meeting confirmations, and dispatch details.
• Emergency Troubleshooting: Independently resolve critical situations such as mechanical breakdowns, flat tires, weather delays, or rejected loads at receiving facilities.
• Morning Transition Reporting: Prepare detailed handover logs and end-of-shift transition reports so that the day dispatch team is fully aware of the events of the night.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of English language is MANDATORY.  
• Experience is MANDATORY for this position.
• Proficient in computer skills and basic IT tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to solve problems in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work shifts, including overtime (after hours).
