We are currently seeking an experienced and independent Amazon Marketing and Operations Manager to join our team in support of our US-based partner company, Third Eye.
Third Eye is a full-service e-commerce growth agency providing comprehensive, 360° management of clients’ Amazon businesses. The agency works with brands across a range of industries, including food & beverage, health & wellness, beauty, supplements, and lifestyle. Its services include Amazon advertising, Amazon DSP, paid search and social, performance PR, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, UGC production, email marketing, sampling, reviews and syndication, and digital-to-in-store retail campaigns.
As an Amazon Marketing and Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Amazon business, manage ongoing operations, and supervise the team. You will also be responsible for client-facing communications, providing regular project updates and ensuring clear communication throughout each project.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the day-to-day right-hand to the founder, absorbing recurring operational and oversight tasks to free up his time for client acquisition and strategic growth
- Review and quality-check work produced by the existing team (Amazon backend updates, ad campaigns, content/creative, paid search & social) before it reaches the client catching errors, gaps, or flawed reasoning before they become client-facing issues
- Act as the connective “glue” across a distributed team: the in-house part-time staff (day-to-day Amazon ops, advertising, content), the paid search/social team, and the outsourced agency partner in India keeping everyone aligned and in sync
- Manage and coordinate work in Asana (project management) and Slack (internal communication) across all six client brands
- Run weekly account audits for the two project/hourly clients, flag issues that need fixing, and get them actioned bringing more structure to what is currently the most disorganized part of the workload
- Build out SOPs, templates, and recurring/templated tasks from the ground up (replacing systems Nicolas built at a previous agency but does not own), documenting them in Asana and Google Drive for long-term scalability.
- Apply strong Amazon marketing judgment when reviewing product pages and content, evaluating title structure, bullet points, infographics, SEO/GEO hierarchy, and overall Amazon algorithm best practices
- Use AI tools (Jarvio, an Amazon-specific AI assistant, plus general tools like Claude/ChatGPT) to drive efficiency, running scheduled reporting tasks, inventory monitors, performance recaps, and content/process recommendations, and building this into team-wide SOPs and automations
- Provide light project-management oversight of paid search and social workstreams to ensure deliverables stay on track
- Be available to step in on client matters when needed and take over client calls as the business grows
Qualifications:
- Strong, hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, comfortable navigating the platform, its tools, and dashboards
- Solid grasp of Amazon marketing principles: how the Amazon algorithm works, SEO/GEO content hierarchy, and what makes a strong product detail page (titles, bullets, infographics, content structure)
- 5+ years of relevant marketing/e-commerce/agency experience, with enough seniority to confidently review and correct the work of other specialists
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, able to keep multiple accounts, projects, and stakeholders on track without things slipping through the cracks
- Project-management mindset and experience (formal PM background a plus)
- Comfortable and proactive with AI tools, not just using them like a search engine, but actively prompting, iterating, and building automations/workflows around them. Experience with Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini at an above-basic level
- Experience working in Asana and Slack, or similarly structured project-management and communication tools
- A “doer” orientation: able to roll up their sleeves, dig into the data/tools, diagnose what's wrong, and propose or implement a fix, rather than only flagging problems upward
- Ability to work and communicate effectively across a distributed, multi-location team (agency founder, part-time specialists, and an outsourced partner agency)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of paid search and paid social advertising (in addition to Amazon Ads/DSP)
- Experience with UGC content workflows or influencer marketing coordination
- Affiliate Marketing, Email/Text, Organic Social, and Retail Media
- Prior exposure to Google Ads and/or Amazon DSP
- Experience building SOPs, playbooks, or process documentation from scratch at a growing agency or startup
- Familiarity with AI-powered, e-commerce-specific platforms (e.g. Jarvio)
- Background working in a small/scaling agency environment where one person wears multiple hats
We offer:
- Full-time, remote work
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, starting from 1pm CET or later
- Private Health Insurance from day 1
- Timely and organized performance reviews
If this seems like the right job for you, we invite you to submit your resume in English. Please keep in mind that resumes in other languages might not be considered.
