About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Automation / Mechatronics Engineer to strengthen our maintenance and engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in commissioning, optimizing, and maintaining advanced production systems, contributing directly to equipment reliability, process stability, and future industrialization projects.

This position offers strong ownership, exposure to modern automation technologies, and the opportunity to actively shape production improvements.

Your Responsibilities:

Commissioning & Installation

• Support and execute commissioning of transferred production machines and processes in accordance with internal standards.
• Participate in installation and commissioning of new equipment, systems, and production lines.

Automation & Programming

• Develop, modify, and optimize PLC programs (Siemens, Beckhoff) based on standards, project documentation, and functional specifications.
• Implement and configure control systems, drives, and regulation systems.
• Set up and parameterize frequency converters and motion control systems.

Industrial Networks

• Configure and maintain industrial communication networks (Profinet, Profibus, Ether Cat).

Troubleshooting & Optimization

• Perform systematic fault diagnosis and root cause analysis on automation systems.
• Implement sustainable solutions to improve machine performance, reliability, and uptime.
• Continuously optimize processes with a focus on efficiency and robustness.

Technical Solutions & Innovation

• Develop and implement program-technical solutions, including PLC logic, robot programs, and handling systems.
• Contribute to new project concepts (functionality, layouts, output capacity, system architecture).

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all electrical works and installations comply with relevant standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct testing, inspection, and validation of electrical and automation systems.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Support production during industrialization and serial production phases.
• Work closely with engineering, project management, and production teams during equipment development and procurement.

Documentation

• Create and maintain technical documentation (software descriptions, electrical schematics, operating instructions, etc.).

Your Profile:

Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automation / mechatronics engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in machine commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Technical Skills:

• PLC programming (Siemens, Beckhoff preferred),
• Electrical engineering and industrial electronics,
• Industrial communication systems (Profinet, Profibus, Ether Cat),
• Drives, motion control, and frequency converters.
• Experience with robotics or handling systems is an advantage.

Working Style:

• Structured, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.

• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to drive improvements and implement changes in a production environment.
