Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time experienced Automation QA Engineer to take an active role in shaping and driving quality across our native mobile and web products. This position goes beyond writing tests – we're looking for someone who can help define standards, guide best practices, and contribute to the growth of our QA culture. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with strong technical depth who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable working across web and native mobile platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for new features and existing product functionality
- Execute automated test cycles for each release and analyze test results to identify regressions and potential issues
- Perform manual testing when needed to validate new features, investigate issues, execute regression testing, and complement automated test coverage
- Create and maintain automation scripts that support product updates, data validation, and other testing activities
- Improve and maintain the test automation framework, helping ensure the reliability and stability of automated tests
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Manual QA Engineers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and verify fixes through automated regression testing
- Contribute to integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improving the delivery process
- Work alongside the Manual QA team to prioritize automation efforts based on product risk and exploratory testing findings
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve test quality, automation coverage, and engineering efficiency
Key Qualifications:
- At least 5 years in QA automation, with experience in at least one of the following:
- iOS native application automation using Appium, XCUITest, or similar (preferred)
- Automation of other native mobile and desktop applications (Android, macOS)
- Web automation using frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
- Solid understanding of the software and/or mobile development lifecycle
- Experience with integration testing and API testing
- Good understanding of REST/HTTP and OOP concepts, POM, and design patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins / GitLab CI / Bamboo)
- Experience with Git and Jira
- Basic understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases
- University degree in computer science or a related field
- Proven ability to drive quality initiatives, define testing strategies, and share knowledge with peers
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
- Detail-oriented mindset with ownership over delivered quality
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with iOS native automation (for candidates coming from web or other native platforms)
- Experience with Postman or other API testing tools
- Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript / TypeScript / Python)
- Background in mentoring or onboarding junior QA engineers
