Accountant

Expected experience:

• At least a University degree in economics
• At least 5 years working experience in a similar job in the economy
• Very good knowledge of local tax laws and local accounting standards
• Knowledge of international standards – not mandatory
• Experience of operating in international company – not mandatory
• Experience in the management team
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge tools in the Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)

Accountant work consists mainly of the following responsibilities:

• General
• Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports to asses accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
• Organizing and carrying out the work in the accounting and control of the bussiness book
• Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department
• Knowledge and monitoring of local accounting standards
• General ledger
• Supervise the general ledger to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Responsible for performing (bookkeeping) the day-to-day general ledger accounting
• Ensure compliance of analytical records with the general ledger
• Treasury
• Planing and cash flow management (input/output payments), management of liquidity and ensure solvency and manage of passive side – loans and liabilities
• Tax
• Knowledge and monitoring of changes in local tax: VAT, Cost/income tax, Tax Procedure Act
• Preparation and reporting of monthly VAT returns, Cost/income tax, Withholding tax in accordance with local legislation
• Payroll and HR records
• Knowledge and monitoring of local payroll and personnel records legislation
• Responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll for employees
• Responsible for the coordination between payroll, human resources, budget and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data
