Backend Developer

EZDERM, LLC® is a technology company that consists of physicians, software engineers, mathematicians, web developers, graphic designers, 3D designers and 3D animators with a zeal to create world-class software solutions for the field of Dermatology. Our focus is to improve the quality of patient healthcare through empowerment of physicians, medical staff and patients with state-of-the-art technology.

We have offices in Naples, Florida, and also in Belgrade. Our awesome team has been developing software for more than 10 years now and currently, we are looking for a new team member to join our growing EZDERM crew!

Backend Developer

Job summary:

• Developing and maintaining, as well as building new applications based on provided requirements;
• Our team practices agile, fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between product, engineering and QA.

Key qualifications:

• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience;
• Strong knowledge of Java and OOP;
• Strong experience with SQL and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of Hibernate and/or other ORM frameworks;
• Knowledge of Spring framework;
• Experience with developing and consuming REST APIs;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• 3+ years of experience.

Skills that will be considered as an advantage:

• Experience with Redis;
• Experience with AWS or other cloud providers;
• Experience working with distributed systems;
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team;
• Thinking outside the box, learning from co-workers and sharing information and experiences;
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
