Big Data Engineer

Due to the significant expansion of our activities, we are looking for a talented Big Data Engineer who will join our team in Belgrade. Our future colleague is tech savvy and likes to be challenged with complex IT problems.

The scope of your job is:

• Implementing and developing of Big Data solutions and components (Ceph, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, ElasticSearch, Kafka, NoSQL and RDBMS databases)
• Fine tuning, troubleshooting and maintenance
• Spark job writing
• Scripting with Shell/Bash/Perl
• Using SQL procedures
• Preparing data for presentation
• Developing collection layer components and integration with data sources

Your qualifications are:

• Related University degree (Faculty of Electrical Engineering, FON, Faculty of Mathematics)
• 2 years of experience with data processing
• Active work with NoSQL and RDBMS databases
• Good knowledge of distributed systems
• Good knowledge of Python/Scala
• Basic knowledge of Linux OS

Experience with following areas is a plus:

• Shell Scripting
• Git
• NoSQL
• Spark
