As a Billing Specialist, you'll be the go-to person for everything from invoicing and internal accounting to vendor communication and financial admin. You'll work in a dynamic international environment, with real ownership over your processes and direct impact on how the company operates day to day.

1. Billing & Invoicing

   Manage the full invoicing cycle: prepare, issue, review, and send invoices to clients in an organized and timely manner.

   Maintain up-to-date client account records, track payments, and proactively follow up on outstanding debt.

   Monitor billing deadlines and continuously identify opportunities to improve billing procedures.

2. Accounting & Finance

   Perform internal accounting tasks including bookkeeping entries, reconciliations, month-end procedures, and ensure correct posting of depreciation and write-offs.

   Maintain the fixed asset register, process travel orders, cash transactions and expense reports, and assist in drafting the annual budget.

   Liaise with banks on loans, guarantees and credit documentation, and support audit preparation with required documentation.

3. Accounting Agency & Vendor Communication
   Serve as the primary point of contact with the external accounting agency, company lawyer and insurance providers, handling documentation, policy management and regulatory updates.

  3+ years of experience in a billing, accounting or finance role within an international company.

• 

  Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field.

• 

  Professional working proficiency in English language.

• 

  Solid understanding of billing processes, invoice management and basic accounting principles (including amortization/depreciation).

• 

  Experience with accounting agencies and familiarity with Serbian tax and financial regulations.

• 

  Proficiency in tools such as Zoho Books, Minimax accounting software, or similar.

• 

  Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation, reporting).

• 

  Exceptional attention to detail — accuracy is non-negotiable in this role.

• 

  Proactive mindset: you identify issues before they escalate and take initiative without being asked.

• 

  Highly responsible and reliable, consistently meeting deadlines and commitments.

• 

  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
