As our client portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Biotechnology Sales Manager to join our team.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience in biotechnology, life sciences or related industries who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving commercial growth.
You will represent innovative biotechnology companies and work directly with decision-makers, researchers, and industry stakeholders across international markets. Your primary focus will be generating qualified opportunities, developing client relationships, and supporting the sales process from initial outreach through to commercial discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective customers within the biotechnology and life sciences sectors
- Conduct outbound sales activities through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Understand customer needs and communicate relevant solutions effectively
- Qualify sales opportunities and schedule meetings for senior stakeholders when required
- Manage and update sales activities within CRM systems
- Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to develop effective outreach strategies
- Monitor industry developments, market trends, and competitor activity
- Consistently achieve individual sales targets and key performance indicators
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a related commercial role
- Experience selling within biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, laboratory services, medical devices, or related sectors is highly desirable
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent English, both written and spoken
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Strong commercial mindset and passion for sales
- Ability to understand technical products and communicate value propositions effectively
- Results-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable using CRM platforms and sales engagement tools
Nice to Have
- Experience selling to biotechnology companies, research institutions, laboratories, or pharmaceutical organizations
- Additional European language skills
- Experience with international B2B sales
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tool experience
- Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field
