BlackRock presents an exclusive dual career development initiative, spanning a six-month paid program, with the possibility of permanent employment afterwards, tailored for military veterans and professional athletes. This program is designed to empower participants by honing their professional acumen, deepening their comprehension of asset management, and providing a robust foundation for future careers within the financial services industry.

Roles:

Client Success

The Insight Client Success team develops an ongoing relationship management and service delivery with clients, building strong, resilient relationships and ensuring that high quality Insight Data Services are provided to clients. Client Success roles include Account and Relationship Management within our Insight Client Success Business.

Data Operations 

The Insight Data Service (IDS) team provides world-class expertise in the collection and validation of investment data for investors in alternative assets. IDS streamlines the exchange of data between Limited and General Partners, allowing investors the continuous access to accurate and standardized data. 

Client Transformation

The Aladdin Client Transformation (ACT) team oversees the complete Alternative Investments system implementation process for clients, encompassing data migration, scoping, system configuration, report generation, system upgrade testing, and managing client requests during the post-deployment phase. Positions within this team comprise Data Migration/Business Intelligence Consultants, Business Consultants, Implementation Consultants, Developers, and Quality Assurance (QA) Consultants.

Technology Solutions

The Aladdin Client Services (ACS) team offers assistance to both external clients worldwide and internal stakeholders concerning the firm's technology products. Team delivers exceptional client service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring prompt problem resolution.

Eligibility principles and criteria:

Military Applicants:

  • Individuals who have worked as professional solders under the military contract
  • Military school graduates who were or still are employed in the army
  • Military personnel who are either part of a. or b. or were mobilized as solders during their regular mandatory military service or as reservists / reserve officers in the past

Athlete Applicants:

  • Individual who has competed as a player or a coach on a professional level in their respective sport
  • Individual who has competed as a player or a coach on a national or international level in their respective sport

Applicants for this programme should:

  • Be able to evidence/reference an interest in financial markets
  • Be able to demonstrate high levels of self-motivation and team orientation
  • Be a clear and confident communicator
  • Have a client service orientation
  • Be fluent in English
  • Cover letter is desirable

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
