Black Nova is looking for a hands-on engineer with at least five years of relevant experience in building automation, smart-home integration, controls, commissioning, or a closely related field.

You will help us integrate, configure, test, and troubleshoot Black Nova keypads, sensors, thermostats, Nova Hub, relays, and dimmers.

Crestron & Crestron Home · Lutron & Lutron QSX · Control4 · Savant · KNX/ETS · DALI · RTI · URC · Loxone · RS-485 · MQTT · Modbus · BACnet

What you’ll work on

• Product integration, testing, configuration, and commissioning
• Troubleshooting firmware, wiring, networking, and communication issues
• Supporting system integrators and international partners remotely
• Preparing test setups, technical documentation, and integration examples
• Supporting worldwide projects on site when required

What we’re looking for

• Based in Serbia and able to work effectively in a remote team
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant automation or integration role
• Very good spoken and written English
• Strong troubleshooting skills and practical electrical/networking knowledge
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, pinouts, system topologies, and technical documentation
• Professional communication with customers, partners, and technical teams
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally without restrictions

Occasional travel may include training at our facilities in Italy or on-site support for projects worldwide, depending on business and project needs.

We want someone practical, responsible, and comfortable taking ownership of technical issues from investigation through resolution.
