Business Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and analytically minded Business Analyst to join our team and support our US-based partner company. Our partner company is a business process outsourcing  company delivering AI-governed contact center, sales, and marketing services for regulated industries.

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Data Performance and Lead Generation teams. As part of your collaboration with the Data Performance team, you will support data analysis, performance measurement, data quality and validation, reporting, requirements definition, and the translation of business needs into actionable technical requirements. In collaboration with the Lead Generation team, you will be responsible for campaign, audience, lead, and marketing performance analysis, as well as related data and system support.

Approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to business and data analysis, reporting, KPI tracking, requirements gathering, and stakeholder support. The remaining 50% will focus on hands-on technical work, including SQL, data validation, QA, API integrations, troubleshooting, minor development support, and cloud-related activities.

Responsibilities:

Collaboration & Communication

• Assist the Development Manager with all aspects of software design, coding, and project planning
• Attend and actively contribute to company development meetings and cross-team discussions
• Respond promptly to requests from the development team via email, Microsoft Teams, and other communication platforms
• Gather information from end users and consumers to evaluate program functionality and identify areas for improvement

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Monitor the financial and/or operational performance of internal metrics, KPIs, and systems
• Gather information from multiple sources to measure, audit, and analyze data
• Write clear, accurate, and actionable reports for internal stakeholders
• Perform occasional data entry tasks with a high level of attention to detail

Technical & Development Support

• Learn and improve familiarity with the codebase to effectively support development efforts
• Write and maintain code as needed to support business requirements
• Work on minor bug fixes and conduct development and QA tests
• Implement new APIs as required
• Become proficient in managing cloud resources on AWS

Problem Solving

• Identify issues quickly and develop effective, practical solutions in a timely manner
• Empathize with stakeholders and end users to understand root causes and prioritize impactful resolutions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of relevant Business Analyst or Analyst/Developer experience
• 1–2+ years with PHP, HTML5, and JavaScript; full-stack experience is a plus
• Strong SQL/MySQL skills, including complex joins, views, and stored procedures
• Experience with REST APIs, cURL, JSON, and operating systems
• Familiarity with AWS or another cloud platform and at least one additional programming language
• Strong data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, especially translating stakeholder needs into technical requirements
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, teamwork, empathy, and self-motivation
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and follow established processes
• A Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Systems, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with Trello or similar project-management tools
