How will you make an impact  

• Prepare and conduct audits of the risk-based audit plan as well as ad-hoc audits and related investigations, e.g. based on whistleblower signals, including detailed audit reports
• Evaluating the effectiveness (design, implementation and operation) of internal controls (e.g. Entity and Process Level Controls) – also according to the SOX regulations
• Creation of test documentation and meaningful test reports
• Following up on findings and tracking the implementation of recommendations
• Active participation in the further development of test and audit methods/programs
• Perform in-depth risks analysis, identify deficiencies or potential for improvement and make appropriate recommendations

What makes you a great fit

• Many years of proven internal or external audit experience
• Internal audit or similar qualification and certifications like CIA, CRMA, CFE
• Experience with testing of SOX controls
• Knowledge of relevant internal control and risk management frameworks (e.g. COSO, ISO 31000) and relevant regulations and standards (e.g. SOX, AS2201, GDPR, IFRS)
• Understanding of fundamental risk concepts
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in interpreting and evaluating complex data and processes
• Willingness to participate in a language course to acquire job-related German skills and ability to utilize German language skills in daily work tasks
• English knowledge (C1)
