Business Developer (Suppliers acquisitions)
Responsibility:
- Overall responsibility for the relation with the supplier and all business activities carried out by the purchase team members
- Ensuring that all products are delivered from suppliers appointed by our client, according to our client's specifications and all other conditions agreed
- Constantly improving conditions at suppliers, monitoring raw material prices, securing a correct start up and phase out of products in close co-operation with our client's headquarters office
- Optimizing the supply capacity within the geographical area of responsibility, so it meets our client's total needs
- This means both starting up new suppliers as well as closing down business relations in accordance to our client's guidelines
Requirements:
- University degree
- Postgraduate education in Business Administration is a plus
- Minimum 5 years working experience in Purchasing or Business Development, preferable in a multinational environment (production would be considered a plus)
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Economic and Financial knowledge; Good understanding of macroeconomic indicators
- Excellent skills in working with the cost drivers in the purchasing part of the supply chain
- Appropriate knowledge about legal issue related to purchasing operations
- Previous experience in coordinating large scale projects
- Fluency in English
- Experience and good understanding of PC applications and systems including MS Office and Databases
- Driving licence
