We are actively seeking highly experienced Business Development with strong background in logistics for West & East region (including Balkans as well) to join our team, in Zemun, Serbia.

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of road/sea freight forwarding. If you're organized, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have a passion for logistics, we want you on board.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a sales strategy for road/sea freight services, including identifying market opportunities, analyzing competition, and setting sales goals.
  • Nurturing long-term relationships with existing clients and identifying new clients to achieve continuous business growth.
  • Maintain and expand the existing client base inside & outside the cluster.
  • Prospect for new business, cultivating a qualified leads pipeline, and convert leads into sustainable billing clients.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, including sales analysis and weekly reporting to the head of the department.
  • Making offers, including presentations.
  • Continuously monitor competitors and industry trends.
  • Visits clients' premises.

To qualify the role you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of senior key account management and new business sales experience in logistics
  • Proven track record in prospecting for new business and meeting targets
  • Tender management expertise and ability to sell cross-silo solutions to C-level executives
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Basic knowledge of English ( knowledge of other languages is a plus)
