Job title: Business Sales Associate
Office location: Spanskih boraca, Belgrade - Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
About the role and the Team:
A high-activity, pipeline-generation role responsible for validating, qualifying and engaging business leads across Hyperoptic's addressable footprint. The SDR is the first point of contact for potential SME and Enterprise customers, ensuring data accuracy, identifying key decision-makers and converting raw leads into qualified opportunities for the Field
Sales team.
Success in this role is defined by the ability to turn large volumes of unqualified or partially qualified data into a consistent, high-quality pipeline. This requires strong attention to detail,
resilience in outreach, and the ability to uncover customer needs quickly and effectively to progress opportunities forward.
What will you be doing?
- Lead validation and data enrichment – Proactively cleanse and validate business address data, confirming active businesses, contact details and decision-makers to improve CRM accuracy and usability
- Outbound prospecting – Execute high-volume outreach via calls, emails, and digital channels to engage businesses and assess connectivity needs
- Qualification of opportunities – Conduct structured discovery to understand business requirements, timing, budget and decision-making processes, ensuring only quality opportunities are passed to Field Sales
- Pipeline generation – Convert raw and marketing-generated leads into qualified, salesready opportunities and consistently feed the Field Sales pipeline
- CRM management and hygiene – Maintain accurate records of all activities, contacts and outcomes to support forecasting, reporting and future engagement
- Collaboration with Field Sales – Work closely with Field Sales teams to ensure smooth handover of opportunities, alignment on targeting, and feedback loops to improve lead quality
- Campaign support – Support marketing and sales initiatives by following up on campaigns, events and inbound interest to maximise conversion
- Continuous improvement – Identify trends, data gaps and process improvements to enhance lead quality, conversion rates and outreach effectiveness
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience or comfortable working in a KPI driven role with significant call and email outreach
- Ability to ask the right questions, identify customer needs, and assess opportunity viability
- Proven experience in maintaining accurate customer records and and updating customer data in CRM systems
- Comfortable in handling rejection and maintaining consistent performance in a high-activity environment
- Strong communication skills
- Exposure to telecoms, connectivity, or B2B environments beneficial - DESIRABLE
