Job title: Buyer (Non-Production Materials) (m/f/d)

Location: SCC Serbia (Čačak, hybrid)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage procurement activities for indirect spend categories including CAPEX, services, and MRO materials.
• Conduct RFQs, supplier tenders and commercial bid evaluations for indirect purchasing categories.
• Lead price and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers.
• Execute sourcing projects for CAPEX, technical services and energy-related requirements.
• Create and process purchase orders in SAP and ensure compliance with internal procurement processes.
• Manage supplier relationships and support the resolution of commercial, contractual and delivery-related issues.
• Act as a key interface to internal stakeholders across Engineering, Production, Finance, HR, and Facility Management.
• Drive procurement projects end-to-end — from initial specification and supplier selection through to successful implementation.
• Review, negotiate and administer supplier contracts and service agreements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or completed vocational training in Business Administration or a comparable field, with a strong technical affinity.
• Proven track record of several years in indirect procurement, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of indirect spend categories including CAPEX, technical services, and non-production materials.
• Excellent negotiation skills combined with assertiveness and a strong professional presence.
• Structured, self-driven work style with the ability to manage multiple procurement projects in parallel.
• Solid understanding of purchasing law, contract management, and quality assurance standards.
• Strong business English for international supplier communication.
• Proficient in SAP (MM module) and Microsoft Office; experience with QAD/Astras is a plus.
