We are a team of mechanical and electrical engineers specializing in MEP and building services engineering, with extensive experience in project delivery and a proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions. With the support of our software development team, we continuously work to streamline planning processes and enhance collaboration across MEP disciplines.

For our location in Novi Sad, we are looking for a Calculation Engineer HVAC who combines strong technical knowledge with a structured and precise approach to engineering. You will work on heating and cooling calculations and the continuous improvement of our digital workflows, while also exploring how automation and AI-supported tools can be applied where they create real value in engineering practice.

Your Profile

• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in independently performing HVAC calculations and working with BIM-based planning processes.
• You have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• You have solid understanding of national and international construction and engineering standards (DIN, ÖNORM, VDI, ISO, EN) and keep your knowledge up to date.
• You have sound knowledge of AutoCAD and Excel; experience with Revit is a strong advantage.
• You have precise, structured and conscientious approach to work, with strong attention to details and quality of calculation results.
• You have resourceful and proactive approach to project work, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams, including responsible decision-making when information is incomplete
• You have good understanding of BIM, digital engineering workflows and modern planning tools, with an interest in automation and AI-supported solutions.
• You are eager to test new technologies, critically evaluate their results and identify practical applications in HVAC engineering.
• You have advanced English proficiency; knowledge of German is considered a strong advantage.

Your Responsibilities

• You create heating load calculations according to EN 12831 and ÖNORM H 7500-1 and cooling load calculations according to VDI 2078, based on technical plans, floor plans and relevant building information.
• You create pressure drop calculations for ventilation according to DIN 18379 and heating-cooling according to VDI 3805, including preparing the BIM model for calculation and export.
• You work with technical building room books and coordinate the exchange of calculation data and requirements within the team and with international business partners.
• You create detailed 2D/3D plans based on provided concepts (modeling), as required.
• You analyse existing HVAC/MEP planning processes and identify opportunities to automate, simplify and improve workflows.
• You test and evaluate AI tools, digital workflows and software solutions for technical building services, including planning, calculation, model checking, documentation and quality assurance.
• You use your technical HVAC/MEP knowledge to assess whether AI-generated results and software solutions are technically correct, plausible and practically applicable in real-world projects.
• You work closely with software developers, BIM specialists and engineers to translate technical requirements into clear, actionable tasks and contribute to the development of internal tools, calculation logic and software products.
• You support the further development of calculation processes, checking procedures and digital standards.
• You document test results, requirements, improvements and best practices to establish reusable standards and processes.
• You use Excel at an advanced level, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• You contribute proactively to innovation and continuous improvement, helping us make our engineering processes more efficient, digital and scalable.
