CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

We have just opened our first location in Belgrade and are therefore looking for a CFO (Chief Financial Officer) (Belgrade).
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the overall financial management of the company, including financial planning, cost control, risk management, contract management and reporting. This position reports to the CEO and works closely with the leadership team to drive strategic growth and ensure financial stability.

Your responsibilities include

• Drive, plan and manage company`s financial planning and ensure budget tracking
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks
• Ensure cash flow is appropriately managed
• Ensure compliance with financial regulation and internal policies
• Implement purchasing, expense management and other financial procedures
• Cost control function (general costs, medical consumables, equipment, etc) and optimization of resources utilization
• Define and track KPIs
• Optimize workflows and establish clear processes and systems (pricing, purchasing approval, etc)
• Negotiate key contracts with vendors and partners
• Oversee claims and collection process
• Pricing strategy and profitability analysis
• Cash register and POS terminal management
• Supervise finance and administration staff

You bring

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in operational finance, ideally on leadership positions
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, accounting and reporting
• Previous experience with both B2C and B2B industries
• Previous experience with financial and accounting systems
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking skills and operational involvement
• Excellent communication skills
• Hands-on mindset
• Fluent in Serbian and English — proficiency in other languages is considered an advantage
