Job title: Collection Analyst
Office location: Spanskih boraca, Belgrade - Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
About the role and the Team:
As a Collection Analyst you will be owning the full collections lifecycle across internal, DCA and legal streams, delivering DSO and collections reporting in line with BAU timescales, while identifying gaps and driving more efficient processes under the direction of the Collections Manager.
What will you be doing?
- Analyze ageing reports to identify high-risk accounts, manage accounts receivable, and deliver regular aged debt, churn and bad debt reporting to ensure timely collections
- Proactively design and implement contact strategies to reduce and resolve overdue balances, driving collection process improvements through trend analysis
- Support development and execution of collection strategies and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (DCA, law firms, vendors) to resolve disputes, manage workflows within SLA, and act as key point of contact
- Perform reconciliations (SAP, sub-ledger, vendor invoices) and ensure accurate financial records, alongside gap-free execution of collections processes and KPI reporting
- Perform ad-hoc collections-related activities to support improved accuracy, efficiency and overall collection performance
What we are looking for:
- 2 years previous experience in a Collections or customer service based environment
- Effective use of IT including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyse and interpret data
- Excellent at building good working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Communicate in a well written and professional manner
