Collection Officer (CO)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contact customers via phone, email, SMS, and other approved communication channels regarding overdue loan payments. 
• Negotiate repayment plans and payment arrangements that align with company policies. 
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment commitments, and account updates in the collection system. 
• Monitor delinquent accounts and follow up on outstanding balances according to collection schedules. 
• Educate customers about available repayment options and consequences of non-payment. 
• Resolve customer inquiries and disputes professionally and efficiently. 
• Escalate complex cases, suspected fraud, or high-risk accounts to the appropriate department. 
• Achieve individual and team collection targets while maintaining high service standards. 
• Ensure all collection activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company procedures. 
• Prepare reports and provide feedback on collection trends and customer behavior.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Minimum High school education degree.
• Fluency in English language.
• Exceptional communicational skills (written and verbal).
• Experience in direct contact with clients.
• Oriented to details.
• Previous banking experience in Retail (Private Individuals) – is preferred, not mandatory.
• Experience in Customer Service Sector, Sales, Back Office, Credit Risk or Collection Section is preferred, not mandatory.
• Medium computer literacy.
• Readiness to work in shifts (to match US working hours).
