CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Role Overview

The Construction Manager has operational authority over all site activities and is accountable for productivity, sequencing, coordination of trades, and day-to-day construction performance, reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager.

End-to-End Responsibilities

Construction Execution

Lead and control all construction activities from foundations through finishes

Ensure works are executed strictly in accordance with:

• IFC drawings
• approved method statements
• technical specifications
• permits and authority requirements

Sequencing & Coordination

• Develop and enforce detailed construction sequencing
• Coordinate structure, façade, MEP, and finishing works
• Resolve interface clashes between trades and disciplines
• Ensure no trade proceeds without prerequisite works completed

Productivity & Resource Control

• Monitor daily manpower, equipment, and plant deployment
• Drive productivity targets and output rates
• Identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
• Support acceleration and recovery strategies

Subcontractor Management

• Direct and control subcontractor execution on site
• Enforce subcontract scope, sequencing, quality, and safety obligations
• Address underperformance and escalate when required

Reporting & Communication

• Report daily and weekly progress to the Senior Project Manager
• Flag risks, delays, and coordination issues early
• Participate in progress and coordination meetings
